Vintage Bontempi Salontafel

Vintage Italian coffee table by Bontempi, constructed with a large clear biomorphic glass top above a separate frosted glass lower shelf with a large central cut-out.

Three tapered textured metal legs with a bronze-toned finish support the two glass levels. The original Bontempi manufacturer’s label remains visible on the lower glass.

A distinctive late 20th-century Italian design with age-related signs of use and scratches to the glass. The overlapping clear and frosted surfaces give the table a particularly sculptural appearance from different angles.
