KRISMAN is an independent Dutch dealership founded by Rick Krisman and Michelle Kepel.
Driven by curiosity and a shared appreciation for objects with character, we bring together antiques, art, vintage furniture, twentieth-century design and decorative objects.
Our interests aren't defined by a particular period, style or movement. What matters to us is the object itself. Its craftsmanship, materials, history and the character that makes it worth discovering.
We believe remarkable objects can be found in unexpected places. Each piece is individually selected, researched and presented with care.

The People Behind the Name
Behind KRISMAN are two people with a shared fascination for objects, their stories and the places they come from.
Rick's background in photography and the visual arts has shaped an eye for composition, material and detail. Michelle brings her own perspective and plays an integral part in the daily running of the business, from sourcing and sales to developing our collection.
We are building a dealership that reflects our own way of looking at things: curious, independent and open to the unusual. A place where a centuries-old antique can sit alongside an overlooked piece of twentieth-century design, and where every object is given the attention it deserves.
For us, that is what makes the trade interesting. There is always something more to discover.

We don't believe that age, a famous name or a particular style alone determines the value of an object.
An eighteenth-century cabinet can sit comfortably alongside a twentieth-century lamp. A piece of architectural salvage may be just as interesting as a signed work of art.
What brings our collection together is character. We look for craftsmanship, thoughtful design, unusual details and objects with a story worth exploring.
Each piece is considered individually, with attention to its materials, condition, possible origins and history.We aim to present our objects as clearly and accurately as possible, sharing what we know and being transparent about what remains uncertain.
A Different Perspective
Antiques and design are not simply reminders of the past. They remain relevant, functional and capable of finding a place in contemporary interiors.
We appreciate original surfaces, natural ageing and the individuality that comes with objects that have already lived a life.
Our collection is deliberately varied. We are not restricted to one period, one movement or one price category. Instead, we follow our interests and allow the objects themselves to guide what we offer.
