A Bert Nienhuis vase for Plateelbakkerij De Distel, Amsterdam. Matt glazed earthenware with stylised decoration in green and ochre. De Distel factory mark and painted workshop marks to the base, including the number 20.
A virtually identical example is held in the Rijksmuseum collection, BK-1973-10, also carrying the number 20.
