Jugendstil Brass Door Knocker on Wooden Backplate
A geometric brass door-knocker assembly on a profiled wooden mounting plate, probably German, circa 1900–1915.
The moving loop is designed to operate a bell mechanism at the rear. Old fittings and slotted screws remain on the back. The surface shows age and use marks. Operation and installation compatibility have not been verified.
