Polychrome Terracotta Figure of a Water Carrier
A large terracotta figure of a young woman pouring water from an amphora.
Probably French, circa 1890–1910. A sculpted stream follows the blue drapery and rocky support, while the modelling continues around the back. The old painted surface has been retained, including wear, losses and traces of age.
